Lost with No Protection & In Search for Some Connection

~Reality in Consciousness

​Throughout this reading I’ll be using the terms “Indigenous, Aboriginal, and Melaninated” interchangeably in reference to dark brown/brown skin pigmented individuals whose ancestors gave birth to the land of Afrika. I cannot help but to feel obligated and gently urged to write the messages from the Mother Earth as an aboriginal, melaninated woman here in the U.S. My spirit sought out and heard the cries of wounded wombs damaged in a now wounded land. From my experiences are where my stories initially begin, but I felt not only compelled to answer a desperate calling, but to share forthright facts to the protectors who went missing out of sight, and for the indigenous women who are without protection and lost in these unnatural, malicious instances by what I describe here today. A quick look at examples, expressions, and lessons to illustrate my reality in consciousness. My focus is derived from a higher form of thought for healing the occupants on this planet, restore spiritual senses, and revive from its complete balance.

Moving onto another plane of thought while in this same space, demanding to know where are the indigenous/melaninated protectors are at for the Earth? I cannot help but notice extreme disparities in violence, health, and child abuse amongst melaninated/aboriginal women and girls today in the U.S in comparison to all other ethnicities. Yes, this machine has oppressed aboriginal peoples for hundreds of years, expediting their early physical deaths. And yeap, we still discuss these matters today because trauma continues to be reintroduced into our lives everyday. As explained by Nelly Fuller, “racism is carried out in all areas of people (aboriginal) activity: economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war”, explained in his book The United Independent Compensatory Code/System Concept. Furthermore, we introduce trauma by attending the schools and being the employees of the machine, but somehow looking for a savior to save us from our sins, what a joke and a spiritual nightmare. All the while, hands-on fathers is still needed even more desperately in all communities, and especially the melaninated units of peoples. A role model, protector, enforcer who will teach a son about how to protect his family, and a daughter about how to seek a protector for her family as both boy and girl grow into adulthood with a sense of a family unity. Otherwise, indigenous women and girls are sought after like unprotected prey on an unforgiving hunger game playing field.

Meanwhile, the indigenous women in the physical and spiritual sense suffer from a form of post-traumatic stress coded into her genetics. In an article it describes here https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2017/12/20/570777510/how-racism-may-cause-black-mothers-to-suffer-the-death-of-their-infants why melaninated/indigenous women experience high death rates of their infants. According to the U.S CDC and Prevention, “for every 1,000 live births, 4.8 white die in the first year of life. For melaninated infants, that number is 11.7.” So, the proportion of indigenous infant deaths was twice over white infant deaths. Studies have concluded that the causes to this occurring disparity was described as “there is a growing consensus that racial discrimination experienced by indigenous mothers during their lifetime makes them less likely to carry their babies to full term.” Basic knowledge to know here is that on-going stress overrides a homeostasis state within your body. I know that a lot of women say that their “use to it by now”, meaning that they are immune to their own spiritual senses and lives with worry/stress. Unending stress is nothing to “get used to”, and so I say again that indigenous women are lost, with no protection….

Child sexual abuse is almost never unheard of until recent times today. What I had experienced in my earlier life turned out to be not so much uncommon at all amongst melaninated women and girls today. In this article titled What’s hidden in plain sight: A look at child sexual abuse http://www.apa.org/pi/about/newsletter/2014/11/child-sexual-abuse.aspx discusses why child sexual abuse is kept secret in the community. The author states how “one trend that emerged is that the majority of black women had been sexually abused as children and did not address the abuse until adulthood.” From knowing and being a survivor of abuse, there was no protection in my community. As specified by the U.S Department of Justice 2014, “an estimated 1 in 4 girls and 1 and 6 boys are sexually abused before the age of 18.” Take a look around because those numbers are extremely notable melaninated peoples. Within one’s family/community indigenous girls are being inflicted by acts of molestation significantly higher to other ethnicities. Where is their protection?

While homicide is one of the largest violent disparities toward indigenous women, “intimate partner homicides were twice as likely to have been slain by a spouse and four times as likely to have been slain by a boyfriend or girlfriend than white women”, according to the CDC https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/investigations/cdc-black-women-experience-highest-rates-of-homicide-of-any-racial-group-in-the-united-states . CDC findings are, “reports show indigenous women experience rape and other forms of sexual or physical violence at disproportionately high rates as well.” Melaninated women only make up about 13% of U.S women, but compromises about half of female homicide victims. Where is their protection today?

The destruction of melaninated/indigenous women coincides with the ruination of Mother Earth. So, then, where are her protectors? We are bringing a balance of mind, body, and spirit into the consciousness of women and girls to heal themselves first. For you teach a woman, therefore, she will teach a community of individuals and restore her protection again, Ashe.
