Respect others' boundaries. A Ask for consent. I Intervene when someone's in trouble. N Notice the warning signs of abuse and speak up. N Nurture myself and others
I may have become acclimated to being abused or neglected that it has affected my internal being where this acceptance has created a lowered, secondary sense of things & a way of life for me. Today, as an adult, I can acknowledge with the strength that I deserve to be treated with respect & dignity at all times. Regardless, of my history or even current behavior, I still am worthy of respect & dignity. - just because I am alive. As I live more consciously aware of moments when I have been abused by someone else’s invocations or inactions. With this growing sense, I can affirm my own credence and choose how I want to address situations where I have once again been violated or abused. The most important lesson is to believe that I deserve to be treated with respect & dignity. Accepting will be my great momentum to act in ways that are respectful & supportive of myself. Your Reality In Balance begins at the very moment as the will is placed forth by your intent to grow and change for the betterment of self, aiding in the improvement of the hue-man! I'll see you guys again. Be well and heal in peace, peace!

"You can't keep one disease and heal two others-When the body heals, it heals everything" Hydrotherapy is number one at the top of my list for methods of daily holistic health regeneration. As you may or not be consciously aware of the utilization of water to assist with hydration, elimination of discomfort, waste, weight loss, & in the treatment of disease is significant to living a balanced, holistic lifestyle. Hydrotherapy is the therapeutic use of water, steam, & ice. It may be as simple as a bath, yet it also includes steam, saunas, showers, hydro-wraps, whirlpool, ion foot therapy, or a liquid nutritional lifestyle. Many hydrotherapy techniques for a range of imbalances can be effectively performed at home. For example, muscular pain & swelling caused by a sprain or strain respond approvingly to an immediate action of a cold compress. An ice-pack applied continually, up to twenty-four hours, on & off during the initial trauma, can reduce swelling & provide relief. Although the multiple hydrotherapy methods are performed at home, certain treatments such as whirlpools or an ionic foot detoxification must be performed under the careful supervision of a holistic health practitioner. Water is responsible for the complete function of our body systems, & is extremely important that this process occur constantly. While most hydration occurs as we drink liquids or eating live foods, it is also definitely present when water is introduced through the integumentary system.

Perhaps one of the most devastating wake-up calls I will have to sustain as a sexual abuse survivor is to experience disbelief from supportive family members. This is particularly perplexing and hurtful if my abusers were members of my immediate family. As a child, my safe-haven was my bedroom. I may have clung to a belief that at least in my bedroom surrounded by my personal items, I was safe. To acknowledge betrayal by any of my family members was unthinkable. I had indefinitely learned to be loyal even to those who were abusing me. My life & sanity relied on it. Today, my child-within needs & deserves to be believed, heard, & supported as she walks a difficult & painful past through recovery. She not only deserves to know but demands to know the truth about her family and may require subtle understanding & support as she embraces this reality. If I need to create distance from family members to protect myself during recovery, I will find the strength to do so. I will own all my feelings about having to do this & will express them with trusted people. Grieving the loss of family can be excruciating, & continuing to maintain my distance will be challenging at times. The natural response of my child-within will be to crave her immediate family. When these feelings arise, I will listen, comfort, & protect her. My adult-self can provide the strength & stamina to walk with her through loneliness & even possibly sorrow. She & I will heal together.
