“In Naturopathy, the connection between the Physical, Mental, Spiritual, and Emotional bodies is the foundation for good health. One of my goals is to help restore & maintain a natural balance for the client.”
The Holistic Health Assessment is like going to see your primary physician for the first time. At the doctor’s office, they will usually collect your weight, blood pressure and pulse readings, if necessary, blood tests, check your iris’s for light stimulation, opening your mouth wide to check the tongue for any viruses, receive medical background\history from you and so on. A well-trained physician can pick-up on mental and emotional imbalances just as well by judging your background history, ongoing self-care treatments, and current mental health states. As stated above, the Holistic Health Assessment is no different than establishing a foundation with your family doctor. Except, as Holistic Health Practitioners, we go a little deeper into the entire body systems through non-invasive techniques and practices to bring the client to a state of whole health and self-awareness.
The key areas to focus on for the client will be guided by the overall assessment. Not only will you receive the time and attention rendered toward whole health, but there will be holistic recommendations outlined in the body systems function. For example, according to your saliva pH and urine pH results, both appear chronically acidic. We would suggest certain types of foods, supplements, and sometimes herbs in the regeneration of the body, to bring the average pH back to normal. Another perfect example of an overall Holistic Health evaluation could be an imbalance in the mental or emotional states. Both areas in life continue to replicate and show itself. Therefore, we'll suggest meditations, readings, energetic cleaning/healing to replenish this area in life with the love and attention that it takes to heal in those areas. Holistic Health is not one-size-fits-all. No matter what your key area(s) of focus is, physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional because, in the overall evaluation, it will be unique to you. You can expect a full look into the entire human body holistically.
