BLACK CATS TAROT

The vast mystery and illustrative duality that the Black Cats Tarot deck has projected is shown in both Physical and Spiritual realms through the tarot cards. I have always been a black cat person for their symbolical, deep connection to the representation of all things dual.

The reviews were all jumbled, good/bad, mixed opinions, but I couldn’t resist the sense of its opposing, natural forces that lead us to the conscious and unconscious sectors of being through the essence of black cats, so by all means, I purchased the Black Cats Tarot deck with no regrets by just the illustrations alone.

The Black Cats Tarot deck’s box has the illustration of the roman numeral XVIII in tarot, the Moon Card to show the secrets that surrender us to the mysteries of our subconscious.

You can use this deck as a tool to unlock your subconscious- dealing with the aspects of inner-work and healing, usher in the unseen behaviors to conscious levels, or for daily tarot forecast readings. The Black Cats Tarot deck can be used intuitively, but it is not for beginners. The elements and their arcane may be undetectable to the untrained eye.

Major Arcana

The Major Arcana Tarot cards represent the life lessons, karmic influences and the big archetypal themes that are influencing your life and your soul's journey every day.

BLACK CATS TAROT DECK, by Maria Kurara

IV Emperor-

A “masculine” black cat, sits leisurely upon his stony throne as if he’s stood the test of time during this reign. The depths of rubies, discernment through his magic, and a strong hand of stability strikes the diviner's mind.

V Hierophant-

An androgynous black cat approaching its external world with gifts in reflection of the internal strengths by ways of Spiritual acuity.

VIII Strength-

A “masculine” black cat thoroughly concentrating on therapeutic soothing and nurturing powers to its aggressive counterpart as a technique that instills kindness and compassion.

XII Hanged Man-

A black cat is suspended upside down, and bounded by the weave of silk threads. The illustration depicts a questionable comfortability of the hanged man’s willful and participatory position.

XVI The Tower-

2 black cats dive from the destruction of blazing lightning bolts from the stormy sky. They leap for cover into the forest to find safety, never looking back.

XV The Devil-

A “feminine” black cat surrounded with significant symbolism representing the impulsive nature of one’s desires. Two 5-pointed stars, a shiny red apple, red masked face, sharp wing and pointy tail figure inviting seductiveness, and more. This can be looked at as a form of self-destruction or an awakening psyche.

XX Judgement-

Above high in the blue skies, there is one large, bubble cloud that stands out the most. Extending musical notes downward to several black cats, the bright cloud is perceived indifferently to the onlookers below. The expressions of the cats are noted as in awe and wonder, distress, or stubbornness.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The Black Cats Tarot deck Major Arcana sector is brightly illustrated where all of those little intricacies embedded into the cards can leave the questioner either fulfilled or better, even more intrigued regarding their destiny in life. There was just one con that I’ve found with the Black Cats Tarot deck, such as that the cards are slippery while shuffling them. A person may develop another technique in the way that they might want to draw the cards to remedy this issue. For me, I think that it’s worth the small investment to get in tune with the unconscious behaviors expressed through the Black Cats Tarot deck for healing and a deeper connection to the subconscious for myself and clients.
